Welcome to Yellowwood Pictures! We are an emerging independent film production company based in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

Yellowwood Pictures was founded in 2008 by award-winning filmmaker, Bunthivy Nou. Bunthivy was a recipient of the 2007-08 Short Film Venture Program with New Brunswick Film for the production of A Lion's Tale.

She is currently president of the New Brunswick Filmmaker's Co-operative and have trained in directing at the Summer Institute for Film and Television at the Canadian Screen Training Center in Ottawa and at the Atlantic Filmmakers Co-operative in Halifax. A film graduate from the University of New Brunswick, she also completed the Certificate in Film and Television Certificate Program with NB Film and NB Filmmaker's Co-operative.

∑ CASTING CALL FOR SHORT FILM! ∑

SEEKING VOLUNTEER ACTORS for short comedy, “Super Geek Math Boy!”.
The film will be shooting in Fredericton in June 2009.

Synopsis: A quirky, coming-of-age story about a teen math genius who learns that being smart doesn’t = bad.

Various roles for actors & extras needed!!!
Gender: Male/Female Age range: 16-23

Where: Fredericton Public Library, 12 Carleton Street, Fredericton, NB E3B 5P4
When: Saturday, April 25 (12:00 pm – 3:00 pm)
& Saturday, May 2 (12:00 pm – 3:00 pm)

Experienced and inexperienced actors are welcome to audition!
